Student VISA Requirements
VISA Requirements
Once a student’s application to study at CRIS has been approved, the student will need to obtain a Non-Immigrant ‘ED’ visa to enter Thailand. This visa will be extended once your study commences. In any case, DO NOT enter Thailand on a tourist or transit visa, as they cannot be extended to cover your period of study. The school will prepare documentation including an official acceptance and/or recommendation letter for non-Thai students to obtain and renew their visa at a Thai embassy or consulate. Once a student gets the VISA, it will initially only be valid for 90 days (according to the Thai immigration rules), then the student must extend to a one year VISA after that. CRIS staff will help students by facilitating and all visa concerns. For more information you may contact our administration office.
