After a decade working with at-risk youth, I began a teaching career that has challenged and immensel satisfied for over 20 years now, both in the U.S. and Thailand.\nI have learned that , although I am a good teacher, I am a much better student, and I've been blessed to learn valuable lessons from my students on a daily basis. They have taught me the importance of teaching to a student - and not to a test.

After earning my undergraduate degree, I spent five years as the Director of Children's Music at FCC Boulder, and spent over a year as a substitute teacher in public schools around Colorado. While pursuing my Masters at CSU, I was a Choral Graduate Teaching Assistant and realised two of my passions by becoming a private voice and piano teacher.
